Great HD monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid gaming monitor. I play a lot of video games but haven't tried a curved monitor. This one is really cool. Great HD. Great price. Speakers are a bit weak, but i usually game with headphones anyway. Will see how long it lasts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted a shared gaming monitor for the family like mine, and I found the Acer ED270R S Widescreen LCD Monitor that checked all boxes, and it was the best option. Good value, great picture, and easy to use.
First, the box arrived intact and right out of the box. The monitor looks fancy and impressive.
I like that it does bring a very nice and attractive 1080p resolution with the 165Hz refresh rate. Both combined are great for editing as well as having a good game day. While playing, we noticed the difference with the 165hz refresh rate. It looks smooth.
The curvature of the monitor lets us immerse into the game. The monitor also offers a nice contrast, so it makes everything look much better. The monitor does not have speakers, and that is perfect because we usually wear headsets or external speakers since most monitors do not provide much bass since they are limited in space.
This Acer monitor comes with AMD FreeSync technology, so it helps get a smooth display, is flikerless, and has Bluelight shield. In other words, it looks great, especially since it is bright at 250 nits.
The ED270R S monitor comes with a nice stand that we can tilt to make it a comfortable view, it does not further adjust in height and on the other hand it can be mounted since it is compatible VESA Mount 75 x 75, so we can use a stand to have two monitors or wall mount this one.
It also has different inputs, two HDMI and one DisplayPort, and that is more than enough for us.
Something else I like is the different modes, action, racing, sports, user, standard, eco, graphics, and HDR, and all are very useful. The buttons are under and in front of the monitor, so they are easy to access, and it is easy to control.
Overall, the Acer ED270R S monitor has been a great option to stay in the game, and we are looking into getting the second one to put them side to side to have an awesome experience. The monitor has been great, durable, well made and best of all of good value.

Just amazing.

Everything is so clear and crisp and the monitor is HUGE. It displays my games so well and I was able to see details I had never seen before. Set-up was super easy and everything connected perfectly. This hasn’t given me any problems since I’ve had it. I absolutely love this thing.

Next level for gaming!

My games look super high def and it’s definitely more of an experience with this screen. It was super easy to setup, connected and had no issues using whatsoever! I was able to adjust to where I needed it and we’ve been having a great time using it! Highly recommend this screen by Acer!
