Working great!

After hearing from friends and family members on how great Bosch dishwashers are (even helped install a few for them), I decided to make the leap to a new Bosch 300 with the door handle. So far, so great! Dishes and glasses are clean. I don't mind that bit of water on plastic dishware that sometimes need a dish towel to dry off or let air dry on my countertop.
I was torn between the 300, 500 and 800 series. Ultimately, I chose the 300 because of its primary features (NSF certified sanitize cycle, handle bar, stainless steel tub, and price point). I am fine with having Wi-Fi connectivity, as most of my home is connected and leaning into "smart". The red indicator light on the floor is also nice to see from afar that the dishwasher is working.
Installation was a bit tricky for me, only due to my older plumbing and how things were set up for my last dishwasher. Once that was cleared up, things went very smoothly.
The one feature I wish they would have included in this particular model is an actual display of the time remaining on the door itself, like the 800 series.
Looking forward to years of service with my new Bosch 300!

It works great and looks good in our kitchen.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this to replace a 15 year old Bosch dishwasher. It still ran but we could not keep the rinse agent door closed anymore.
This machine has an adjustable middle drawer and a cooking implement drawer at the top, which our old one didn't. These features, along with the larger interior, make this dishwasher a lot more flexible, usable and capable of larger loads. It is amazing how much you can place in the implement drawer and the adjustable middle drawer alows one to wash pizza pans in the bottom one load and and dishes in the middle drawer the next. The bonus is that it washes dishes even better and quiter than our old model (you can barely hear it runing).
The grab bar, which is why we purchased this model, is solid and make it easy to open and close. The Wi-Fi features cycles not available otherwise.
Bottom line, we are glad we bought this model. It works great and looks good in our kitchen.

Terrific Design and Cleans Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying our brand new Bosch dishwasher. It holds more than our previous KitchenAid that began having problems. At the appliance store, everyone tauted the Bosch dishwasher line, even though the company sold other brands. Even our salesman owns a Bosch and gave us a few tips. It does a good job in getting everything clean. We especially like the top silverware rack. The ONLY negative is that it seems the racks are not very well built. I don't think we'll have issues with the racks, but they just seem cheaply built. Other than that, we are most happy with our new Bosch dishwasher!

I have used my dishwasher 4 times since purchasing and I find my quartz countertop to be hotter than I would have expected from this level machine. Tech came and said that everything was as it should be and to use it for the 1 hour cycle instead of two hours for the normal cycle. It did reduce the heat output but I am still not happy with the explanation that it is not considered an issue and no one else has reported this particular problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed, dishwasher was installed in early December and the middle of January it is still not working. Technician came out and installed a new controller. Then found out that the inlet housing was discharging into the base pan. Waiting on the part and the technician to return and install it. Probably got a lemon and Bosch should replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roomy, quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Bosch dishwasher. It's even quieter than the previous one, and it's roomier. The third shallow rack, for utensils, is a game changer; it frees up so much space for other items (bowls, plates, etc.) The extra utensil holder can be used if needed or taken out to add even more room.
My only complaint is that it's awkward to load bowls, especially small ones. In doing so, I often lose a fair amount of space. Still, this dishwasher has a really high capacity, and I'd buy it again.
I activated the HomeConnect app, and while I only use it to see how much time is left in the cycle, I could use it to customize different loads.

Excellent dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am pleased with the dishwasher. It seems well built and will hopefully endure well. I like that it doesn't have a heating element and I can put things in the bottom without concern. Mostly the dishes are clean.
