Let's just start. One my AC is okay but it hardly takes the humidity out of the air which makes it feel hotter then it should feel. The dehumidifier on it makes it freezing in the area it's in. It keeps going till it's in a good humidity percentage not how cold it gets in the house eek. It takes a lot of humidity out which is good but is it's absolutely freezing.
Another thing is that it doesn't hold much water, less the 2L. So I got to empty it every half hour and it's a pain as I have to put it on a table to even get a bucket under it to get the water out. The constant water exit hose thing is a pain as you have to find a spot for it to drain and there is no spot for that in my apartment. I've been using a mop bucket for that to drain in and dump it so I'm not constantly needing to lift up the heavy AC unit onto a table. But my kids dumped the water all over my floor from the bucket so that's now a pain as well.
The heat we haven't tried yet as it's close to summer right now. I wouldn't give this AC more then 3 stars. The design is absolutely stupid. Should have a bucket to empty the water instead of a drain hole as you can't wash the water catch part that's in the AC unit. Plus because the AC part doesn't even take humidity out at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
