When it got delivered I noticed actually it is 6000BTU. I have casement window, so had to bought new arrangements for hose. It was delayed in delivery.
But most important, it does good job. Cooling my bedroom fast and it is not noisy like my previous window ac.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This unit only produces cool air and won't cool a bedroom.
