Finally... A breath of COOL air

I've been on the fence about buying an A/C unit as I live in northern Canada and only have a few weeks of intense heat...
There was a great sale on this machine so I bit the bullet and made the purchase...
I DO NOT REGRET IT! I have this set up in my bedroom, which collects heat like nobody's business, and have had the best of sleeps in a controlled temperature.
The only glitch with me was that my window hinges outward — I had to jerry rig the exhaust to attach to the screen but the arts & craft project was well worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great air conditioner

I was kinda worried about the purchase as I never herd of the name but I took a chance and I love it blows very cold and is not to loud at first I thought there was a problem with it I reached out to customer service and they do not hesitate to email you first thing to my surprise there was nothing wrong with I just did not read the instructions lol I highly recommend this air conditioner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Functional, but description is not accurate

It really struggles to cool the ~260 square foot room it was purchased for. Definitely not good for up to 350 square feet as described. The thermostat in the room often reads ~26-28 degrees when this AC is set at 20.
To note, the fan shuts off when the AC does, unlike most other units that keep the fan on once temperature has been reached in cool mode. Since ours hardly ever reaches the set temperature, this isn't really an issue.
Some other things in the description that aren't quite accurate:
-Sleep mode is not "low-noise" as described. It's exactly the same noise level, it just gradually raises the temperature overnight. The noise level is what I would expect for a unit this size, but don't buy it thinking that it has a quieter mode to use overnight.
-"Manual oscillating" function is misleading since by definition, oscillating means moving back and forth at regular intervals. You can change the direction of the air flow manually but don't expect it to "oscillate". I guess it COULD be oscillating if I sit next to it with my hand on the vent, moving it back and forth regularly, but that's not realistic...
Overall, a decent unit for the price for a smaller room, but doesn't live up to its description.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t cool room at all

I’m so dusappointed with great reviews.
I have this in a small bedroom, set at 16 degrees, running g 2 hrs with door closed and the thermostat reads 27 degrees. Very little power and air venting is barely cool. Installed after warranty because we had a cold snap and now I’m stuck with this 406.00 fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are looking for a single room

If you are looking for something for a single room, this is the perfect one. Very strong but only in the bed room or living room which means can’t cool in the whole unit cuz it is not a big one. And it you are very sensitive person, should install with little space from you bed. Everything good enough and reasonable price. If you live in a stuido or on bedroom, it is a perfect one! Easy installing, easy interface

never actually seen it priced at $600, always under $400.
cools our bedroom well but has that classic AC sound about it and not very quiet. it wakes me up in the night when it kicks on so had to start wearing earplugs to bed.

the machine does a good job but the hose and window to machine are flimsy plastic difficult to screw in the connection and are difficult to stay in place I have to use duck tap to seal it to the machine and the outgoing hose to the window outlet. If you could give me a stonger hose and connection option that is sturdy then I would rate higher.
