Microwave plate stopped turning 3 months

The microwave table stopped turning after 3 months. When a cook is cancelled, if you don't hit "Clear" the inside light stays on, why?

We are very pleased with the looks and features of our new Forno microwave. Just wondering if there is a backlight feature for the panel controls? It’s difficult to see the panel control buttons unless we turn on all the kitchen lights. We have it mounted under the island countertop.
I would recommend this to a friend!
