The charger itself it very well made & reliable. My biggest disappointment is how short the cable is. Only 16 feet. I often rely on a public level 1 plug. Sometimes when I have to park a couple parking spots away. It won't reach. I have to use a extension cord. This should really come in a 25 feet option for use in public. I think this was intended just for home use & even then. It way too short.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like how sturdy is the charger that makes It valid for very hot or snowy days. It was easy to hook on my bluetooth and Wifi network. Only downside is that it didn't provide more than 12A to my EV, though it should give 15A.
