Just What I Was Looking For in a Level 1 Charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Level 1 charger is exactly what I was looking for. My car came with a portable Level 1/Level 2 charger that works with different adapters. Level 1 charging generally meets my needs, but the original charger was only delivering about 0.7-0.8 kW, which was frustratingly slow.
I decided to try a dedicated Level 1 charger to see if I could get better performance, and I’m glad I did. With the Lectron, my car is now charging at approximately 1.1 kW. While Level 1 charging is still relatively slow, that’s nearly a 40% improvement and makes a noticeable difference when charging overnight.
Another benefit is the lighter, more manageable cord and charging handle compared with the bulkier charger that came with my car.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase. It’s a simple, practical, and reasonably priced solution for anyone who relies primarily on Level 1 charging.

Eliminated Fire Risk

Easy peace of mind. I moved from a setup that put us at risk of overheating. I had a timer between the wall and the charger. The Lectron eliminated the need for two devices

Ideal for EV motorcycle charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quite a nice little unit to carry for emergency charging. I personally use it on my electric motorcycles. The app is very convenient. My only comment is the thickness of the charging cable, it is sturdy and well built but if it could be a bit smaller could save quite a bit of space and weight in a space limited motorcycle.

Does exactly what I wanted

I don't want to install a L2 charger, and my entire garage and other things are on the same breaker. I decided not to risk anything over 12 amps. Is it slow to charge? Of course! But it was my expectations. I don't drive much so it will be fine to get me back to 100% and I like the reassurance that I can charge at a family member's home if I go for a visit. Will it be enough in very cold weather? I guess I'll find out. The Wifi was easy to setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my GM EVSE that failed. Shipped really fast and caught a good sale price. Cord is a bit shorter but more importantly, it seems to charge my EV a tad slower than OEM. Probably better for my house power though
