Love my Maytag refrigerator freezer met!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Maytag refrigerator freezer met and exceeded my expectations! The refrigerator and freezer sections are more spacious than I had expected. I love the clear glass shelves because you can actually see where everything is. The ice maker is compact and doesn’t take up space in the freezer that is needed for other items. It is actually located inside a pocket in the side of the large refrigerator door! The only downside to this unit is that it doesn’t have an egg holder, but I can certainly live with that small inconvenience!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy with refrigerator. Got back from being away and water was all over floor. A neighbor helped wipe up water. Closed off water in back of refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so GREAT! The fridge is very spacious, which is the number one thing. The ice maker inside of the door is a great design which saves a lot of space. I am pleased with this purchase!
This refrigerator has a problem with the water dispenser so the ice cubes are small and the water trickles out. It’s not even a month old and whirlpool wants to repair a whole part.. at least it’s still under warranty. But it’s new and now they are gonna tear it appart

Hello, We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Refrigerator. Thin or hollow ice cubes usually indicate a problem with the water supply, flow, or pressure to the ice maker. 1. Water Filter Issues Improper Installation: A recently installed filter must be correctly seated and sealed. An incorrect installation restricts flow, resulting in thin cubes. Action: Check and reinstall the filter. If water dispenses freely after the filter is removed, re-seat the filter correctly. Clogged Filter: Replace the filter every 6 months or when the indicator light is on. A clogged filter reduces flow and pressure, causing low production and hollow cubes. Solution: Replace with a genuine everydrop® filter. 2. Air in the Water System (Flushing) Air Trapped: After filter replacement or maintenance, the system contains air. This causes small, hollow, or misshapen cubes. Procedure: You must flush the system to purge air and carbon particles. Dispenser Models: Dispense 1-4 gallons of water (check filter instructions). Non-Dispenser Models: Discard the first three full bins of ice produced. 3. Water Line and Pressure Issues Kinked Water Line: The 1/4" cold water supply line (copper or PEX) must be free of kinks or crimps. A kink severely restricts flow and causes hollow cubes. Action: Pull the refrigerator out and inspect/straighten the line. Low Water Pressure: Adequate water pressure is essential for efficient ice making. Low pressure causes slow dispensing and small, hollow cubes. Recommendation: Ensure correct water pressure according to your model's specifications. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems: Connecting to an RO system can inherently reduce pressure, potentially leading to thin/hollow cubes. Consult Whirlpool guides for mitigation strategies. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This fridge replaced our 20 year old side by side 26 cu ft Kitchenaid fridge. WOW!!! What a massive difference, so much more room and so much “useable” shelf space. I was skeptical about the freezer drawer hold as much as the freezer side of out Kitchenaid but it holds more and is more accessible. It is nice to have filtered water and ice once again, the kitchen water/ice stopped working about 10 years ago. We made the right choice. On a side note there was a slight blemish/defect on one of the handles and that was quickly replaced by whirlpool with no hassle
