Nice features, great operation, a bit noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator to replace a 10yr old Whirlpool. Slightly larger than our last one, we love the extra room and ability to accommodate larger containers. The slim design of the in-door ice maker frees up a lot of room inside the fridge. The freezer capacity is large enough to handle bulk items.
Our only problem is the noisiness of the refilling of the ice maker. Dispensing water is ultra quiet, but when the ice maker refills with water.... watch out. It sounds like the unit is under so much pressure it's going to blow.....
I would recommend this to a friend!

ONE complaint...took my husband and I about 1 1/2 hours to pull off all the ridiculous plastic protective barrier! Frustrating waste of time. Unbelievable that after 15 years, nobody has come up with a better way to protect appliances?

Lovely unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge approximately one month ago and I really love it! It is spacious, the compartments on the door have a lot of room. I am very satisfied with it, overall. My only complaint is how noisy the water line and the ice maker can get...then again, this is my first fridge with automated water and ice so not sure if this is the norm. Regardless, I am satisfied with this purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Water Dispenser Issue

We like it so far. It is very quiet, seems to cool well. BUT you have to be extremely careful when dispensing water. Unless very careful, when you pull your cup away it will drop water onto the tray and floor. There are ways to avoid this but you would have to train yourself and your guests! Long term concern about water damage to our hardwood floor. I attached a closeup picture.
