Bright, Beautiful, Immersive-LG 77" C5 Delivers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stunning 4K picture, top tier gaming performance, and an easy-to-use smart platform make the 2025 77" LG OLED evo AI C5 one of the best home theater upgrades made to date. It offers incredible brightness and contrast for both dark and sunlit rooms, plus the size delivers a true cinematic feel.
Picture and sound
• The OLED evo panel with the α9 AI Processor 4K Gen8 produces deep blacks, rich colors, and noticeably higher brightness than older non evo sets, so HDR movies and sports really pop on the 77" screen. Upscaling from HD and streaming sources is excellent, with clean detail and smooth motion for fast action.
• Dolby Vision and HDR10 support ensure movies look as intended, and paired with Dolby Atmos and Wow Orchestra, the TV can create immersive, room filling sound even before adding an external soundbar.
Gaming performance
• With 4K up to 144 Hz, ultra low response time around 0.1 ms, and support for NVIDIA G SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, this TV feels made for next gen consoles and high end PCs. Fast shooters and racing games look incredibly smooth with no noticeable tearing or lag.
• The Game Optimizer and dashboard make it easy to tweak VRR, black levels, and picture presets per input, so switching from movies to gaming is quick and intuitive.
Smart features and everyday use
• webOS 25 is responsive and simple to navigate, with user profiles, quick settings, and plenty of streaming apps available out of the box. Voice control via built in assistants and the Magic Remote make it easy to search, change inputs, or adjust settings.
• Brightness Booster technology helps the set hold up well in bright rooms, and reflections are manageable as long as it is not placed directly opposite strong light sources.
