Safety Hazard

I had this range installed almost a month ago, and I feel it is a safety hazard. If a person or even my large dog brushes past the cooktop control, the burner turns on. ITT heats up immediately and if I turn it off in 15 seconds or less, the hot surface light doesn’t turn on. The burner will remain very hot to the touch for up to 20 minutes, with no hot surface warning. It’s hot enough to burn my 2 yr old granddaughter or my 6 yr old grandson and the can’t tell that the surface is hot until they accidentally touch it. It is very unsafe.

Although our ranges and some cooktops come with a Child Lock feature, this will not prevent the knobs from turning on the cooktop. All Samsung range knobs must be made this way to meet international standards; third-party products are available to address this issue. Please click the link below for tips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG!! I/We absolutely love this stove. Love the wifi & how it let's me know when the ovens ready. Only thing I would like to see improved are the plastic knobs, I melted 1 of mine when I leaned a pan on it. Otherwise it's a fantastic oven.

Bad design, so not buy.

This stove is extremely flawed. I purchased it to match my refrigerator and have almost caught my house on fire at least four times due to the knobs. The knobs are beyond easy to turn on. Even if you brush against them, they’ll turn on. I commonly have something over top of the glass top, which I’m thankful it doesn’t catch fire easy. I think it’s stupid that I need child locks over each knob to feel safe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The cooktop takes long to heat and cool. Cleaner stained black paint by vent. Scratches easily. The old whirlpool was more powerful than this range

Great Smart Range

My only concern was the stain on the stove top after use but with baking soda and vinegar feel like brand new after each use. Also, love the smart features and integration with smart things.

Did not come with air fryer tray, or cable. Smudges easily. Knobs feel plasticy and cheap. Disappointed.

Good but one flaw
