Bose Quiet Comfort 2 on a Budget!!!! Get These!

I've been using the SkullCandy Method 360 ANC earbuds for a couple of months now and, essentially, SkullCandy and Bose worked together to re-release the Bose Quiet Comfort (QC) Earbuds 2 in a more affordable way. Is that a bad thing? Overall, ABSOLUTELY NOT! The QC Earbuds 2 are the best ANC earbuds on the market; the combination of that and the beautiful sound quality that Bose is known for makes for such a fantastic listening experience regardless of what music genre you're listening to. There are definitely some differences between the two, and they have more to do with the fit and the functionality.
With the fit, it can easily be felt that the Bose QC Earbuds 2 are more premium. I personally believe that this definitely plays a role in providing an effective ANC experience. Despite that, the Method 360 are still very comfortable and, when you're trying to save money, that sort of premium fit isn't going to matter.
As far as the sound quality goes, outside of the material being used, I've been having a difficult time with finding any differences between either set of earbuds. They sound exactly the same. With the price of the Method 360 ANC Earbuds, these earbuds are an absolute STEAL. What I did notice, however, is that I do get some slight feedback whenever wind from the outside hits it. Consistent winds aren't going to interfere with the listening experience, but you'll be able to notice it.
The functionality of the Method earbuds is all taps. Unfortunately, the finger-sliding feature to adjust the volume isn't available (you get what you pay for). In exchange for that, you'll have the option to have a bunch of customizable options for what the taps do via the Skull IQ app. The default options for the taps don't include the ability to turn the volume up and down, but I was able to easily change that once I set it up to my earbuds. The slider charging case is rather interesting! It's a very unique design that can be a hit or miss. I personally like it a lot since it's still compact and can still fit into a pocket easily, and the carabiner it comes with is convenient for clipping it on wherever I need it to be. What makes up for what some would consider a wonky design is impressive battery life. 9 or 11 hours with the ANC on and off (respectively) and 23 or 29 hours in the case with the ANC on or off (again, respectively), which adds up to 40 hours of total battery life. That's way more than the standard, so that's extremely impressive.
I only have a few cons with these earbuds. The first con, and really the only major con I have with these, is that the earbuds don't securely fit into the case every now and then; I have to play around with it until I can tell that's they're in the case and charging. The second con is that the feedback that I spoke of earlier. The third con would be the quality of the mics for phone calls. They weren't good to begin with when it comes to the Bose QC Earbuds anyways, so it's unfortunate that nothing changed with the Method earbuds.
In summary, this is the Bose QC Earbuds 2 on a budget. With what I'm experiencing, I don't think I can recommend the QC Earbuds anymore, mainly because the Method 360 ANC earbuds covers everything. It makes up for all of the premium things that the QC Earbuds had for a third of the price. It's a no-brainer. I can't recommend these enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever used. The sound is Bose clarity with skull candy bass added to it. The ANC is on par with buds that are triple the price. I haven't found a down side to them yet and I've had them over a month

I purchased these because I have owned Skullcandy products before. The sound quality is excellent. I recently used them on the airplane and the ANC does an excellent job. The only improvement I might suggest is to the case/charging base. When hooked To something it has the tendency to come open.
