Exceptional In Every Way!

This is much, much more than a "window fan." It allows for your choice of air circulation while taking up a minimum of window space. I still enjoy the light and sights of the window where it's placed as well as the esthetics of the unit: it's sleek, stylish, and attractive. It's incredibly quiet yet entirely functional and costs less than my HVAC circulation fan to operate. I will be purchasing a 2nd unit (again in white) for our bedroom in the next couple of weeks.

Good fan, but the Auto Temp leaves something to be desired

overall, this is a good design and seems to be a solidly built fan. I wish it had a built in screen, but few window fans do.
The thing that is driving me a little crazy is what happens if the air temp is right at the set point. it switches on and off constantly. I just timed it off for 15 SECONDS, and then back on for 30 seconds. Normally things like this have a couple of degree range so if I set it for 65 deg cooling, it might cut on when the temperature gets above 65, but not cut off until it drops below 63. or even 60.
If you don't notice noise changes, it might not be a concern to you, but since I can touch it while at my home office, I had to turn off the auto temperature controls.

Just what I needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This window fan is super cool and very easy to use! It comes with thick foam blocks to help it fit in a variety of windows. I love that I can keep my screen on my window and the fan isn’t affected by the screen being in place. It is Alexa enabled so that makes use quite easy. The settings on the fan are easy to use. The fan looks nice. It has a low profile. I do wish it would have came with a remote as well, it doesn’t hinder my use, but I know others might find that having a remote would be helpful. The fan does cool down the room nicely. I plan to get a lot of use out of this when fall comes around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is WOW ... this fan packs incredible power in a small package. My husband and I sleep with a fan on every night ... preferably in the window weather permitting. We finally had a summer night that was cool enough to give this new fan a try. It's heavier and more sturdy than a typical fan window, but still easy to manipulate. Adjustable side extenders allow for a perfect fit in any size bedroom window. Controls are sleek and discreet ... my husband actually couldn't find them at first and was looking for a remote control! Incredibly powerful design ... it's hard to get airflow in our bedroom, and this unit gave us a great breeze. Surprisingly quiet for the power. Haven't used the Alexa connection yet, but I can see setting that up and turning it on remotely before bedtime.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Transom AE Window Fan with Alexa provides an easy way to get air in your rooms for circulation without a bulky unit. The fan is quiet and light, very easy to install. I love the way it blends into the environment. We put the unit in my home office as it can get stuffy with the door closed all day. I was concerned that I would not be able to run it often because I have to be on the phone or virtual meetings a lot. However I have been pleasantly surprised with how soft the noise level is, it has not been an issue at all.

Alexa app does not have user interface controls for the fan

Alexa app does not have user interface controls for the fan. The fan's device page is completely blank. Can't even change the fan's name from "First fan".
Outside of the app, voice commands work EXCEPT setting the temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this recently and absolutely love it. I use it in my kitchen window. I was excited about it being adjustable but it wasn't how I expected it. It has really nice heavy foam inserts to fill in the sides of the window. I have it connected to my alexa which I had to do manually. It would not recognize the QR code on the box. I love that it has a thermostat to adjust the temp. It can blow air in or suck air out and you don't have to take it out of your window to change it. Just a simple push of a button. It has 4 speed settings. It has a good bit of power for such a small fan and it's quite. Hardly any noise at all. Cleaning it is simple, just use the upholstery brush on your vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived this weekend and we immediately got it in the window, I live in south Ga and its legit a swampy hot mess out here. It looks so much better than any other model of window fan and I love the remote and options its more modern and sleek, it does provides much more than expected air flow circulation helping get the stale air out of our main common room in our home, but I'm also able to get the morning and late evening cool breeze in too, overall I really like this product, 5-year warranty is a plus too! we dont really use the alexa so I cant really comment on that feature
