Silver Swan S Vintage is our 2nd Vornado purchase (first being a model 660 for our bedroom which is truly whisper quiet at low speed and we absolutely we love!). Our satisfaction with model 660 moved us to look for a more decorative style Vornado model for our living room (14 ft x 14 ft), daytime use, quietness not as important.
We like the metal workmanship of Swan S Vintage, it’s a pleasing decorative piece in room. We purchased knowing it’s noise level is slightly higher than 660. I only operate at low speed and it’s noise level is reasonable quiet at low speed (mild white noise), classic tone of this style metal blade fan. Oscillating mode, (though I rarely use), has been pleasantly quiet without any mechanical noise from components. Though only owned for 1 month, I don’t see any reason not to expect years of good performance.

Nice fan overall. Use it as a sleep aid. Blade is a little out of balance so when using on slow speed it rattles a bit. I can see the hub is not square to the face of the base (it moves closer then farther when turning). Not a deal breaker, but had hopes for a fan without flaws for the price.

We are in our first month with the fan and it is great. The craftsmanship is superb. The performance is awesome. It circulated air so well in our living room on the low setting. The high setting is too powerful for the space we have it in. Well worth the money for aesthetics (Made from real metal) and performance.

I bought this fan to help circulate air flow in our bedroom. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing to the eye, it circulates the air perfectly and doesn't make too much noise. It's pleasant to sleep with it on.

The first thing I noticed was the weight, it's quite heavy so I can tell it's made of quality metals & materials. The aesthetic is very impressionable without giving up any practicality. I just got an overpriced Dyson fan as well but this is far more appealing to keep and have in the family. I will likely get another one in a different color now. Thanks Vornado.
