Great fan. I even took my fan with me out of town. I can not sleep with out the cool breeze. This is by far the best fan I have ever purchased and I have purchased more than can count. I plan on ordering one for every room.

My living room would sometimes feel stuffy, but I didn’t want a ceiling fan in there. I have open back bookshelves, and wanted a good looking fan to sit on a shelf and move some air. It was also important to me that the fan be pretty quiet so as to not disrupt conversation, and I preferred controls that are easily accessible from the front of the fan. This is the only fan I found that checks all those boxes. No disappointment.
On another note, the the packaging of the fan was amazing. the fan was inside a drawstring bag, and carefully cradled in cardboard. The fan was protected from moving inside the box in a very impressive way!

I use this fan in my office which was designed to be the formal dining room in my home, so there is no ceiling fan. The ceilings are 14', but this fan easily circulates the air blowing in from the air conditioning vent in the ceiling. I like the small size and gunmetal color since they both complement my office décor. Its very well built, solid, and the adjustments make it a versatile fan while being quiet and unobtrusive. It proves that a fan doesn't need to be large to be effective at circulating air in a large space. Its small enough to be "portable" for travel, but it is a little heavy due to the quality materials it is constructed from. If you are looking for a small fan that is versatile, efficient, stylish, and well made, then look no further than this model.

I would buy this fan in a heartbeat if the blades were metal

I love your fans...just recently bought the Alchemy Silver Swan...love the retro look including the metal blades...this fan is a beautiful piece of art and the plastic blades, even though it makes the fan more affordable, just doesn't finish off the craftsmanship. Maybe next year you can make an edition with metal blades???? Just a thought...if you do, remember my email address. :0)
