This is not your standard cheap-y box fan. There’s a reason for the positive reviews. It is sleek and well constructed and well worth the price. Moves air like only Vornado fans can do. Highly recommended!

I purchased this fan to replace an older 18” electric box fan on my boat. I’ve used it during the summer of 2025 and it exceeded my expectations. The low setting is strong enough for cool air throughout the evening and also kept bugs away!

Could not use because the electronic switch. I was using in an area only accessible via a ladder so I plug in to turn on and off. With the switch that is on this you have to press it to turn it on. Then you have to hit the speed control to adjust the speed. When unplugged it will not start again until you hit the switch. Plus it always started on high when you turned it on and you had to adjust it down if you wanted it quite.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think vornado products aren't what they used to be

My husband bought this fan in May maybe? In October is started making this squeezing sequel noise. When it shuts off you can hear it even worse like it is going to give out. I just left a review for a little heater that died after one season of light use so time will tell if this thing will crap out or start a fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
