[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to try out and I have to tell you, this fan is awesome. I swear it does blow hard like a tornado. Simple to operate, just turn on and select desire level of fan. Let it cool you off. There is no other fan out there that can beat the speed, velocity and wind speed. Definitely will cool you off and it's a must have during the hot summer months.

Multiple settings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this fan I wasn’t expecting much honestly since I figured they are all the same but I was wrong. This fan has multiple settings and at the highest one is very strong, I guess that’s why it’s called Vornado. It immediately cooled down the house with how strong it is. The only thing I noticed is that it’s a little louder than most fans but obviously because it’s much stronger. I will definitely be using this fan all summer long especially when the Texas heat hits.

Surely everyone had or knew someone that had a box fan at some point in their childhood if you are in mid 30’s and up
This is what you always wanted the fan back then to be but never quite was or if it was this strong was probably dangerous for your fingers!
I love these at the lake for the memory of a box fan but now it’s a memory that moves so much air! Can’t recommend living without one

Perfect for the heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You never know you need a fan u til you have one. This is going to perfect this summer! While we are hanging out outside in the burning sun, or up camping. This is perfect. The fan is quiet, has many speed options and has a handle to carry around.

Powerful, High-Quality Fan That Gets the Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Vornado Model 80 box fan- it moves tons of air and delivers exactly what I need, whether I’m drying floors after mopping, clearing smoke from the kitchen after searing a steak, or just trying to cool down a room without blasting the AC. I use it indoors and out on the porch, and it never disappoints. It’s powerful enough that you feel noticeably cooler just having it running nearby.
The build is sturdy and clearly high quality. The only minor downside is that the handle carries at a bit of an awkward angle- but that’s hardly a dealbreaker given how well this fan performs. It can also be noisy, but that's just a feature of how much air it moves.
If you’re looking for a strong, efficient box fan that really moves air, this one’s absolutely worth it.
