The scent is subtle, not overpowering. I have this in my master bedroom to come on in the evenings until about bedtime. It's a simple, calm scent that is understated.

This is subtle but lovely. Sometimes lavender fragrances can be pungent and sharp but this is tempered slightly with green, woodsy nuances. Also think I detect a hint of rose.
