Safe/Clean Ingredients? Not so sure

I purchased my Pura last year and I was so excited about it. The scents offered are truly so vast and very luxurious compared to other diffusers in my opinion. However, I took my Pura out of the wall and set it on my table up right and within a couple hours, the oils from the pods leaked out and stripped the paint clean off of my table… seriously made me question the integrity of the oils that are in these pods. If they are truly pet and child safe, with natural and clean ingredients, then how could the oils be strong enough to completely strip the paint off of my table? Then it made me worry about what that is doing to my lungs?
