New model is good but still has many of the same downfalls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model is an upgrade from the previous versions, but still has some downfalls. It looks nice, until the scents have been used for a couple of months, and a thick, uncleanable yellow residue is left on the device where the cotton wicks come out. It does well in creating fresh scents, though I’m nervous how safe they are for people and pets’ lungs due to this residue. They function m well and are simple to set up. I would love to see cleaner fresh products, and the ability to know how to clean them. (The Q&A pages have not been helpful as the tips did not work. )
