Smells different in diffuser than from the vial

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this scent when I opened it from the box. So much so that I bought more to fill all my other diffusers. But it started smelling different (like a weird sweet smell) that I didn’t love and realized it was the Salt scent in all my diffusers. Very odd. So I’ve returned those and am looking for a different scent that won’t do that.
