Wanted to love

This missed the mark. The battery life OR the motion sensor draining the battery (in a parked car over the course of 48 hours) makes this too inefficient, especially for the price.

I’m a general contractor, so I spend a LOT of time driving. I really wanted to like the Pura Car because the scents actually smell great, but the way this thing operates makes no sense for somebody who drives frequently.
I’ve changed the settings multiple times and have everything set as low as possible, yet the cartridges don’t come anywhere close to lasting 30 days. I can install a brand-new scent on the 1st and literally be out by the 4th. The biggest problem is that once it connects to my phone and starts running, it just keeps pumping fragrance while I’m driving. There needs to be some kind of automatic cycle where it runs for 5–10 seconds, shuts off for a while, then comes back on when needed. Instead, unless I manually shut it off, it seems to just keep going and burning through the cartridge.
And yes, I’ve started manually turning it off, but mine is plugged in near the backseat. I shouldn’t have to constantly remember to open the app or reach back there just to keep it from wasting fragrance.
For somebody who barely drives, maybe this works. For anyone who spends hours in their vehicle every day, expect to go through cartridges ridiculously fast.
Great smelling scents. Great concept. Horrible execution. I genuinely wish it worked better because I would absolutely keep using it.

It’s a lot more convenient

Teak and leather

I have a full leather interior in my car, the car is three years old but it smells upscale and luxurious because of this scent. I have a Pura car pro diffuser and I only use the teak and leather fragrance - my only complaint would be that different discs have varying strength and varying length some last longer some fill the car better some are hardly noticeable on the most intense setting. I wish their products were more uniform. The device itself doesn't take up much space, the battery life off of a full charge is fine.
