Does not work as consistently as original

I bought the plug in style for my husband’s car and it always functions properly. I decided to get one for my car as well, but only the pro was available online. The pro, has a mind of its own with it working intermittently.

Disappointed -Frustrating Return Process

The diffuser didn’t work well — I could barely smell anything unless I put my nose right next to it. On top of that, the return process was unnecessarily complicated. You have to email and call, then wait in line just to get a return label. A smoother return experience and better product performance would’ve made a big difference.

Pro is amazing - just needs a few small improvements

I've had my Pro since Christmas '24 and love it! One issue that holds it back from 5 stars is the short battery life. Here's what I would like to see which would probably help a lot:
Make a "custom frequency" setting that we can set up in the app, which would allow the user to set up the power on/frequency/power off timers. For example, I would create a setting that would say "Step 1: when uninterrupted motion detected for more than 10 seconds, turn on Pura Pro. 2. Run subtle release of fragrance every 5 minutes. 3. When motion has stopped for more than 30 seconds, turn off Pura Pro". Each of those steps would be able to be custom set to suit the needs of the user.
I have no problems with the scents or how long they last. But I often enter my car to find the Pro is already on and based on the scent has been for at least a few minutes if not longer, with no one in the car, no motion of the car itself. All I can think is a large truck may have gone by or wind movement or ???
This should be able to be contained to an app update and maybe a firmware update, since you're not changing the hardware functionality of the unit.
Keep up the great work Pura team! This is definitely a great addition to my home - we have one pro and two originals in all three of the cars! :)

Almost perfect… it not quite

The carefully curated scents that I love in my home are now in my car and I love it, but the defuser could use some tweaking. It would be nice to customize more setting in the app. It is distracting to adjust while driving. I have push the button multiple times to get the scent to the subtle setting that I prefer. Then have to remember to turn it off when I’m done driving. Wish I could set scent level, duration run time and save/loc my setting in the app. Then I’d only have to push the button once when I want it to run. The auto feature runs every time so get in the car. That’s too much.

Still not recognizing scents

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for my original car diffuser, yet I am still having the same issue. Not sure whether there was a firmware update of something, but this diffuser like my last does not recognize the scent cartridges, and unfortunately you cannot manually add them like you can for the in-home diffusers.

Second car difuser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one I received did not work and would not connect. After trouble shooting it turned out to be something wrong with the device. I was sent another one. So far so good. I just can’t smell the fragrance that well. I wouldn’t buy this again unfortunately.
