A Good Idea, a Poor Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pura Car is an interesting product. I can appreciate that Pura made it, but the car unit has a lot of shortcomings that made me ultimately return it.
Positives
- The design is thoughtful and the USB cable is braided and high quality.
- It has a built-in accelerometer, which is wild. It will automatically start and stop with car movement.
- All the scents you love, now in disc form.

Dealbreakers
- The scent in my short-cab truck is overwhelming, even on the lowest setting.
- It’s not designed to fit in some obvious place in a vehicle. Pura recommends installing a magnet, but I don't want this big puck attached to my glove box.

Other Negatives
- There’s no internal battery, so it needs to be plugged in at all times.
- The fan isn’t loud, exactly, but you know when it’s running.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Car works great. However, I have (2) car scents and 3 home scents. I had no trouble loading 1 home scent but can't get my kitchen scent to load. Have tried reloading 2 x. Help!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the concept of the car pura, however I don’t like any of the scents. I like cinnamon, vanilla, sandalwood. Pura offers very few options for the car.
