Good idea, bad execution

I really wanted to like the Pura Car, as I've previously used other devices that operate similarly -- albeit with less appealing scents. Pura does provide a lot more candle-like scents that are more fruity and floral and sweet, like food; less so than cologne or perfume. I really like that. Specifically what disappoints me about the device is the small 'glitches'.
1. Plug-in - This is the one 'con' that I can live with, however, it is a bit disappointing that the device itself doesn't have any onboard battery that can be charged up in order to remain 'cordless'. A lot of cars aren't necessarily designed to have loose cords from USB/12V/cigarette lighters directly to the cupholders -- so it creates a very chaotic look in a majority of cars.
2. Auto-on / Auto-off / Accelerometer - This feature in theory would've been good, however, I find that if you place the pura car inside of a rear-seat cup holder, even the slightest change in degree makes the device believe that it's in motion. So the 14 days that it's supposed to last is over in a day and a half. Very costly mistake.
3. App / Connection / Retention - The app itself is very glitchy. If I attempt to rename the title of each device (Since I own several cars with the Pura car), it takes about 10 attempts before the app actually shows that name in the app. The next time I open the app, it tells me to configure the device again. After about 2 weeks, the app doesn't respond at all to the Pura car. I've attempted to activate pairing mode over a dozen times on both Pura cars I own, and neither is detected by the app.
4. Multiple Pura Cars - speaking of the app, there seems to be no way to operate more than one Pura car via the app. This makes the app feel like it's very much in its beta stages, and not very polished, or even ready to be sold to the masses.

I think this is a great concept however I wish this had the option to not be plugged up in order to work; wish it was either plug to charge it up and then once charged it works without being plugged in or have a battery insert because having a cord isn’t aesthetically pleasing.
Hope you guys come out with a cordless option soon.

First diffuser was broken upon

Sometimes I can smell it,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes I can smell it, sometimes I cant. Its always got the lights on and full powered, but it just doesnt pump it out strong enough. I could smell the scent when I put it in the first time, but after that only if I hold the car thing up near my nose. Kind of disappointed. And there arent very many car scents that smell good to me.
