Very simple to use. I particularly appreciate that it does not dribble down the side of the decanter when you pour the water into the reservoir or the coffee into the cup!

Poor design on valve at bottom of drip basket. The spring loaded valve is prone to catching on carafe lid and has broken once in the first weeks of use. This is the valve that allow for removal of the carafe while the coffee is still brewing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far I like this coffee maker and have only one complaint. The water level window is located on one side only and is very inconvenient for my placement on the counter. It brews good coffee and is easy to use.

I like most everything about it but it has the same problem it has always had. Access to the fill location for fresh water is very tight. The way the lid is designed, it makes it difficult to add water to the coffee maker. And since it is important to add the correct amount of water, it has a big impact on the quality of the coffee which is brewed.

It makes coffee as well as others but the filters can be tricky and the pot isn’t easy to empty completely into the reservoir.
