The coffeemaker works as advertised. The one thing I do not like is the on going steam condensing on the lid the dripping back down on the heating coils. It sounds like the coffee in the carafe is boiling away.

I had a difficult time figuring out the filter placement. I was also not happy to read that every 60 pots of coffee I need to change this filter--so now I have to find these filters and pay for them. There is a never ending process of having to keep shelling out money after the purchase---the coffee is not very good but that is my responsibility.

Great features, great coffee, one nagging issue

A well above average coffee maker. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for a nagging feature...the carafe tends to drip as you pour from it. For this kind of money, I would expect that not to be happening.

First and foremost this is a sophisticated looking coffeemaker. It brews excellent coffee. It is also backed by one of the leading companies that stands behind its product. The user interface is simple. We paired this purchase with a Cuisinart expresso / capuccino maker that we use and enjoy often as well.
