This coffeemaker is a replacement for one we had. Some of the functions on the touchscreen stopped working within the first year. It was replaced by you. I was very happy with the coffeemaker prior to the touchscreen problem. It brewed excellent coffee. It was a great temperature. I liked the larger pot for times when guests were over. We used the bold and small pot features many times to make specialty coffee drinks at home. My previous coffeemaker had a stainless finish but I felt it showed fingerprints easily. I prefer the black finish. The style is sleek. My last coffeemaker, prior to the Cuisinart, had problems with dripping from the spout when pouring. This one does not. I am hoping the problem we had was a fluke and hoping this one will provide great service for us.

I had the cuisinart thermal coffee pot before & liked it very much. I don't keep my pot plugged in all the time, so for me this pot is harder to use. When I turn it on it wants me to put in a time which I don't want to do. So sometimes When I hold the brew button & release it will keep going back to me to put in the time. It takes more than a few times for the pot to go to the actual brew process. I would just like a button to brew the coffee!

Very sleek looking and I really like that you can choose to have the screen dark. I don’t like all the appliance lights in the kitchen. It brews quicker than our last brewer and, most importantly, the coffee is better.
