My first machine made weak coffee. Trying to get a replacement was a hassle. When I finally did receive a replacement, the coffee tasted good, but the machine randomly beeped for no reason. When pouring a cup, the coffee gets everywhere. Would much rather have the glass carafe that doesn’t leak. The good thing is the grind is much quieter than other machines.

This machine is exactly what I was looking for except it did not make coffee that is strong enough for my taste even at the strongest setting. I noticed that the coffee was not as hot as I get out of the grind control machine. The temperature itself is not an issue, however this might be a clue as to why the coffee is not strong enough. Other than that, the machine functioned well and the grinder was quieter than I have experienced in the past.

Had to return this coffee maker after trying to get it to work for two weeks. The grinder control did not work; some days it would grind beans for a weak cup of coffee, next day it would grind for 30-35 seconds and use up nearly ½ lb beans when set for two cups. Kept changing settings but seldom got the correct combo of beans to water. Also, coffee was only lukewarm, so thermostat did not work either. I have an earlier model of this same coffee maker in my vacation home and it has been working fine for over a year.

Coffee maker made good coffee. The two problems I had with it are: water reservoir isn’t removable for cleaning and it’s not possible to grind the coffee in advance of auto brewing.

Best coffee pot I’ve had in decades! I consider myself fairly picky when it comes to my coffee makers - and this one checked all my boxes! It’s simple to use - whether I want it to grind fresh beans or use already ground coffee. Simple to keep clean - to fill the water, and the carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours!
My favorite feature is the auto-program! I wake up to an amazing smelling kitchen and a fresh hot pot of coffee! Was a fast/easy set-up too.
Couldn’t ask for more!

I love the freshness the Grind & Brews deliver. This was to replace the 12-cup Grind & Brew that I had for years (the release button on the basket broke). I like some of the new features, but disappointed that the carafe leaks as you're pouring.

I have owned a Cuisinart Grind and Brew for many years. After many years, when I have to replace them, the model seems to improve. This is the best version yet. It is so much easier to clean and maintain. The thermal carafe has also improved; It doesn't drip like the old one. A thermal carafe is so much better than the old hot plates that used to burn the coffee in the glass carafes. I know it's an expensive purchase, but the quality of the coffee I have every morning is outstanding. It is well worth the investment.

Overall a big improvement over my old Mr. Coffee and my coffee grinder. Quality of my coffee is excellent! I don’t need frothy milk. I still have some trouble pouring coffee out of the carafe. Very slow, or am I doing something wrong?
