So far I really like the coffee maker. I’m made maybe 6 or 7 pots. I do worry about future clogs or issues, based off other reviews. But so far no issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We tried an 800 burr grind and brew. It made good coffee but dripped and the grinder broke after 1.5 years. The blade grinder model was next. It was loud, made good coffee, and took too long to clean all the parts. Cuisinart sent our 850 burr grind and brew with thermal carafe as a replacement to the 800 model. The 850 with thermal carafe is the best model. Coffee is outstanding, easy to clean, relatively quiet grinder, and the thermal carafe is really nice. They got it right with this model, I recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This coffeemaker is appropriate for an office setting--not for a home. This is my 4th Cuisinart grind and brew coffeemaker and the one that I like the least. I prefer the pyrex coffee pot for the visibility and the cleanliness of glass. I did not choose this one--it was a replacement for one that only lasted for 1/3 of its warranty life. I probably will get used to it with time but it is the last time I will buy a Cuisinart product.
