This is the worst coffeemaker I have ever purchased. Am so disappointed in Cuisinart. I have had several of these (but DGB-900 Series that is no longer made) over the past 10+ years and absolutely loved it, so this was a miserable surprise. It intermittently made coffee, ground the beans on and off, and when I was able to get a full pot, coffee dribbled down the front of the carafe and made a mess. I returned it.

However, cannot pour from the carafe without dribbling coffee all over the counter.
Also, the clock doesn't keep time & gains about 10 minutes per day, so not useful for scheduling.

Out of the box it was DOA and still awaiting the replacement. Instructions on Cleanup of the burr grinder are leaving me with doubt about the reliability of the product. Glad it has a warranty.

Works very well and makes good coffee. Grinder is fixed at medium, a little coarser than I prefer. I've found a good combination of strength setting and water amount for coffee just the way I like it. Very satisfied I bought it.
