Love the machine and its convenience and operation. Only criticism is that the strength dial does not seem to change the actual amount of grounds and therefore, you get the same strength, regardless of how you set the desired strength. Only way I found to get around that is to select the number of cups less than the amount of water poured into the reservoir (i.e., select 8 cups but pour in 10 cups of water).

I really love this coffee maker, EXCEPT that it doesn't brew the coffee hot enough! Just a couple of degrees hotter would make this a perfect machine. Too bad it doesn't have a dial to adjust the temperature.

Absolutely Love it so far! Had it for a few weeks now. Previously had the "lesser" grind and brew cuisinart model that you had to fill and clean for every use. Time to replace and wanted to "upgrade". This one can store up to 4 or 5 full pots worth of beans in the hopper. the Burr Grind instead of the regular type is a nice improvement... a little richer fuller flavor using a few less beans. And it is SO MUCH EASIER to Clean. Literally just a couple minutes! Plus it looks great too! Love the display and features. VERY Pleased! Also note we haven't really experienced the problems some people noted about the carafe not pouring well. It's not perfect, but not really a problem. And We've Always preferred the Thermal Carafe...keeps coffee hot and fresh for at least 3 hours .

Brews excellent coffee from whole beans. The only (minor) problem is that the pour spout causes coffee to dribble down the side of the pot onto the counter.
