I was still using the 14 year old version of this coffee maker and decided to upgrade It sits bigger on the counter A better feature in this version is that it will alert you if you haven’t emptied the filter basket A little more difficult to program the timer the grinder is marginally quieter. It does allow for a adjustment for strength which is a nice feature Overall I am pleased with the purchase

Took a few days to get used to it and find the perfect settings for our taste, but we love it! Stylish, quick and great coffee.... And a dream to clean over other grind coffee makers. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5.... Pot leaks when pouring coffee. Something Cusisnart has not addressed in years.

We find the coffee has a smoother taste. So far very happy with every pot we have brewed.
