This is our third Grind & Brew. We love our morning coffee made with Fresh ground beans. We love that the beans can be stored in the feed container and that the carafe keeps the coffee warm - although not as warm as our previous model. As with other reviewers, we are disappointed that Cuisinart has not come up with a design that does not spatter and drip when pouring - this is also worse than our previous models. We put up with it because we love the coffee it makes and can’t find another model with a thermal carafe that stores the beans without a major investment.

Who knew that starting your first pot in the morning with the sound of grinding beans could create the best pot of coffee you've ever had?! I am so grateful we chose THIS coffee pot over the myriad of ones out there. We could have spent A LOT more, but I'm not convinced it would have produced any better coffee. I've had a couple questions since buying it, and the Cuisanart customer service team has been terrific about timeliness and ideal response to satisfy my questions/concerns. Thanks for making a great product, and for my first coffee pot I've ever owned to be such a joy!

Love this coffee maker. The built in grinder makes for fresh coffee every morning. Love the insulated coffee pot, it keeps the coffee warm all morning. The only down side it is difficult to clean. Overall great product!

Coffee maker works great. Burr grinder makes a nice even grind and has settings for strength. Grinder is a bit loud so don't set it too early or it'll wake you up. Hopper holds enough beans for several full pots and seals tight so they don't dry out.
Design of the thermal carafe lid is not good. When pouring, coffee comes out the sides and spills on the counter.
Everything is easy to clean and it's straightforward to program for an automatic brew.

The first one I bought the grinder portion did not work. Cuisianrt mailed me a second one that works well. The coffee taste is excellent. I wish the the pour spout on the carafe could beslightly improved as if you are not careful the coffee may drip when pouring the coffee
