Wonderful coffee maker. Easy to use. My only issue and a critical miss is the metal carafe. It does not keep the coffee hot enough and I need to microwave subsequent cups.

This unit replaced a separate Cuisinart coffee maker and burr grinder. While it works fine, there are some things I don't like about it. Cleaning the grind basket is a messy task. The worst feature is the VERY limited bean chamber. I can only fill with enough beans to make two eight-cup fills. But the coffee is fine and, of course, the burr grinder is MUCH more quiet than the Cuisinart burr grinder it replaced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm happy with the coffee maker overall but I wish water temperature is little more hot. Maybe its my personal choice. I like hot coffee lol. Otherwise Burr Grind & Brew is great!!! Looks great on the counter top & always gets freshly ground coffee!!

Easy to use and makes great coffee. Very convenient - easy to adjust amount and strength of coffee brewed. Great for anyone who prefers to use whole bean coffee. However, it is not convenient to empty the hopper to change the type of coffee to be brewed, so I deducted one star. If you always brew the same type of coffee - no problem!

I was making my third pot of coffee this morning with my Cuisinart burr grind coffee maker paying close attention because it was also my third one of this model. The first two didn't work at all and I had to send them back for replacement. This one worked fine for two times but this morning it ground the appropriate amount of beans, paused and then went into a second grind. I will never buy any Cuisinart product again and I don't want a replacement that I know won't work. It was a lot of wasted money. I have purchased a Black and Decker replacement that I am sure will work just fine.
