This 10-cup brewer replaces a 12-cup brewer. The tedious brushing out the ground coffee from the previous brew is no longer required. Now just put in a new filter, make sure there are enough beans, add the desired amount of water, and push two buttons to start. The brewing process is also quicker.

This is our second model in 4 years of this coffee grinder/maker and for the most part, it works as expected. DO NOT fill water past the line on the top (which we were able to do on our old model) because the spring on the bottom of the basket stops functioning (our best guess anyway) and coffee overflows everywhere. This has happened to us twice now. If we fill it to the line, it works as it should. Our previous model also had a larger carafe and we really wish this one did because we have do a second brew to save for iced coffees in the afternoon.

Love this brand and this coffee maker I’ve owned one like it ever since it came out. Reliable, durable, keeps the coffee warm and tasting fresh. The new bird system does not need to be cleaned and makes it very low maintenance. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone that’s looking for a freshly brewed cup of coffee with no a little effort.

Love it! I got the updated model when my old one started leaking at the bottom. It was still under warranty. The new model is updated to be quieter and the pot pours without spilling!
