I bought this dryer a few weeks ago to replace a "higher end" hair dryer that started to leave my hair dry and frizzy. It also started showing signs of malfunction. Honestly, I'm so impressed with this hair dryer. It leaves my hair smooth and soft. I usually have to use a flat iron after drying just so that my hair isn't so frizzy. I'm finding that I can use it less now, and with lower heat than before with my more expensive dryer. "Cost more" doesn't always mean better!! Thank you Conair!!

I loved this hair dryer until it stopped working. About 1 year in it occasionally wouldn't turn off without me unplugging it. Now the air speed will only turn on to low, no matter the setting. Conair's warranty page is terrible and says my serial number is invalid, so I'm just stuck with a faulty dryer after 1 year.
