WORST RANGE EVER

Buyers be ware!!!! The is the worst range ever!!! After the FIRST USE, the cooktop was scratched and it won’t come off. I was even using a brand new pot!!! I also tried an old pot on the other side and it did the same thing. I’m so disappointed!!!! I love all my other LG appliances but I really regret buying this range.

Recipe for Disappointment Major Design Flaw!

If LG dares to remove this review, I'll make sure it's plastered across other major retail platforms. This oven is an absolute disappointment! Gone is the lower bake element, leaving me with a mere fan and the broiler/top element to do the job. My decades-old oven outperforms this fancy piece of junk any day! Macarons are overbrowning, pizzas are unevenly cooked—crust done too soon while the center remains raw. Cheese? Forget about it—it's a one-way ticket to burnt town! I conducted a meticulous temperature test, placing a professional thermometer dead center, set to 350°. For two excruciating hours, it clung to that temperature like it had something to prove. Well, what it proved was that this oven's reliance on the top broiler element is torching my culinary dreams! How on earth did LG think axing the bottom element was a stroke of genius? This "appliance" is nothing short of a disaster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our LG LSEL6337F stove. It is an absolutely beautiful stove. It heats up faster than any other oven I have ever had, 10-15 minutes to get to 425! Love the high powered burners and the ability to change to several different sizes. Stove top has been easy to clean-better than my last stove. One of the reviews I had read before purchasing had me worried-it had stated that the front panel was hard to read. This is a non-issue, the front panel is darkened and only shows the clock when the oven is not in use. When you turn the oven knob, open the oven door or touch the panel in particular areas the panel lights up. You don't need it lit when using just the stove top. We like this as it gives the front a nice "clean" appearance (see photos). When connected to the LG app your phone can let you know when a timer or preheating is done. You can turn this oven on remotely through the app but you need to have the oven dial set ahead of time to "remote start". This is fine with us as then no one can connect into our oven unless it is in a receiving mode. One thing that bugged us with the app-it kept telling us to clean the oven when we had hardly used it-found out when looking through the app settings that you can change this to tell you weekly, monthly or turn it off (the app reminder goes off of time-not based on whether your oven is actually dirty)
Several reasons I went with this higher model: "true" convection with an element in the back by the fan (LG has eliminated the bottom element), high powered front burners with adjustable sizes, bottom storage drawer with handle, high heat cleaning (along with easy water cleaning), slide in range with knobs up front (they can be easily turned on when bumping into them so watch out), warming burner. The other things that it comes with like lighted knobs, probe, sous vide, air fry (basket included), Instaview window that you just need to knock on to turn on the oven light & beautiful blue interior just makes it that much nicer. We haven't tried the air sous vide, air fry or probe yet but everything else has worked great so we would anticipate these will too. We have been very happy with our purchase.

A LEMON

Nothing about this electric oven/range is acceptable for use. The oven will not warm up to the set temperature, even though the buzzer has indicated that it has reached the set temperature. It is at least 30 degrees off. I have had a repair man come to fix this problem. He set the temperature to increase by 35 degrees, which makes baking, cooking tricky. I have placed a thermometer in the oven to figure out the proper temperature. Also, if you should open the oven door to check on your food, the temperature goes down 100 degrees, and the heating element needs to surge on which distorts proper cooking time and doneness of your food. The range knobs turn on way too easily if you should brush up against the front of the stove. This stove is beyond falling into a "lemon" category. It's an unsafe, fire hazard, improper cooking/baking appliance, and needs to be recalled and replace with a safe, operable appliance. Shame on LG for including this oven/range in their product selections. I would not purchase another LG oven again.

The app hasn't come into play yet but, I dig it! Start to finish baked (fluffy) baked potatoes in some 45 minutes is awesome! Cookies done in under 10 minutes, using the convection bake is great!
