the carry cover is hilarious-looking because it has a spot for the chimney! it fits great, is well made, is REALLY WORTH THE MONEY if you're gonna have to carry the oven. The oven is pretty awkward to lift-- not too bad, just enough-- and the heavy-duty carrying case makes it soooo easy.

Essential Accessory IMHO

A nice, water resistant cover to protect and carry the Ooni. I power my Karu with charcoal and wood; therefore, the chimney is always attached. I have seen suggestions for alternative covers, but with the chimney on, these alternatives are not feasible. And I don't want to detach and stash the chimney every time I cover the Karu. The straps and buckles are quite sturdy. I feel confident that the carry case will not give way when I am transporting the Karu. If you plan to leave the chimney on and/or transport the portable Karu, I highly recommend getting the cover.
