Great attachment

Very useful attachment for my Karu 2. I wish it was included as a part of the base model but takes some of the faff out of the pizza party preparation. Also, this is likely just me but for a noob it would be useful to clearly note that the gas attachment fits a Patio Gas bottle. I had to return and replace an ordinary calor propane tank with my local hardware store because it didn’t fit. My bad but it wasn’t super clear to me anyway. I’m being asked to rate reliability below which is a silly question for the duration I’ve owned the thing - it’s worked well the 1 time out of 1 I’ve used it so far so 5 stars…

It takes a long time to heat up the stone

I have to bring a separate pizza steel if I want proper leoparding on my pizza undercarriage. Otherwise I would need to keep the gas running full blast for 2 hours to get the stone hot enough, then take a long break between pies for the stone to heat back up.

Thought that pizza would not have the same flavors as wood fired, but there was no noticeable difference. Heating was quick and ability to maintain heat between pizzas was beneficial. Need to work on the heat control a bit hotter than wood/charcoal. . Recommenced.

my mistake…i thought my original burner had gone bad…so i ordered a new one…it worked perfect but so did my original someone in the family changed my infrared thermometer to centigrade…i really did not. Need it….

my bad…my infrared thermomter got changed to centrigrade from farenheight …my original was working just fine…. expensive lesson…. drk
