A little learning goes a long way

It’s so easy to convert my Kari 2 to propane using the gas burner. I had to do some reading and watching videos to learn how to properly use this with my oven. You have to leave the door & vent open or it won’t get enough oxygen to keep the flames going. After learning this everything got easier and the pizzas turned out great.

Convenient, but heats very slowly!

The title says it all. This is enormously more convenient than using wood fire (easy to use, low maintenance, etc. ), but heats SO SLOWLY. After 45 minutes running at full blast, my oven was barely hitting 800 F.

Love it. Cooking with the wood is fun and gives the pizza that wood fired taste but when pressed for time, the propane is great. It is an art that takes some time to perfect but I am getting there.

Struggled on with the charcoal burner with very mixed results. The gas burner gives you so much more control over the temperature and the duration of cooking time.

Great for giving you the choice of 'simpler' cooking, if you don't want the hassle of wood. Used this the first time I used the multi-fuel oven and it was great.
