Super quick cooking on gas

Easy to install, a great addition if you have people round and are making lots of pizzas quickly. Gets upto temperature quickly, nice to have the option of both gas and wood fired. Would recommend buying.

Gas upgrade for Ooni Karu

Works really well, did take a couple of attempts to get temperature right with the gas. I still enjoy using oak if it's a small cook with only a few people but the gas attachment is much quicker at getting to temperature and maintaining heat between pizzas. Using wood or gas, both taste excellent 👍🏻

FSD Flame Safety Device IS DEFECTIVE. I've had 2 of them both with the same issue. PLEASE OONI FIX THE PROBLEM. And until they do DO NOT BUY.
The flame cuts out as soon as you release the control knob. The troubleshooting does not fix it. I am now stuck with an oven that works on only charcoal.

We use the oven a lot more now that we moved away from it being wood fired. Much easier to regulate, up to temp quicker and cooks more evenly.

Love our Ooni pizza oven!!

We are having so much fun baking pizza in our Ooni oven both with the gas burner and alternating using wood pellets. Having a home outdoor pizza oven allows for experimentation and it's been delicious and a wonderful family activity.

I bought the optional gas

I bought the optional gas burner for 2 reasons. First I like to have all the accessories etc. for my stuff, and 2nd because I’m a little lazy. Soooo…. I’m a high end contractor in central California, and having built many custom wood burning pizza ovens I can only exclaim, why!!!!!. They cost umpteen thousands of dollars, weigh tons and take up a lot of real estate. My Ooni dual fuel does everything a gigantic oven will do for a fraction of the money and takes up minimal space. I love it, everyone that enjoys pizza should get one!
