First, the good bit,
Very easy to swap between the wood burner and gas burner. It lights very easily and stayed alight despite it being quite windy.
Not so good, it took longer to get to temperature than with the oak logs and struggled to get to cooking temperature and also to regain stone and air temperature after cooking a pizza.
The taste is better with wood, but I expected that.

Not as good as hoped

Due to the model of pizza oven it recommends the door should be kept open, this then means you can’t get the pizza stone hot enough.

The hose was kinked due to packaging. Once I was able to remove the kinks the burner would not stay lit. It often would just stop for no reason. Very frustrating

Great little oven however on wood or charcoal it takes a. Long time to get to temperature albeit lower than recommended. Bought a gas burner and that does the job.

Heats up much faster

We love the gas burner! It makes the oven more efficient and although we lose the smoky flavor from the wood. It is a much cleaner burn for the oven clean up

Burner Won’t Light

When you can get the burner on, it’s great. Much easier to get up to the appropriate heat than wood. The heat is also significantly more consistent with this argument. The biggest problem is the starter just won’t light the fire. You hear the click and there’s no spark. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps and nothing. I wouldn’t recommend the attachment.

A worthwhile purchase

I enjoyed using wood and coal for two years, however keeping the temperature going meant I couldn't be involved in the socialising as much.
The gas burner has provided a useful compromise, and I can't notice a difference in taste.
