[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it for the first time the other night and it got a lot hotter faster than I expected. Just be aware when using it.
Installation was a breeze, just remove the charcoal and wood bin and install the propane burner.
I look forward to cooking many items with this.

A worthwhile investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made a major difference to how often I’m cooking, no more nursing the fire, plug in and go whenever you want, though I struggle to get beyond 440c
I’ve only ever got it to light once using the in-built clocks lighting system, I’ve had to reach in with a match or use a long lighter to ignite
I burnt my forearm reaching around to the back to adjust the regulator, it would be cool to have a regulator where the dial is placed at the front, similar to those included in the Gozney ovens

Great product - be careful when installing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comes with the hose and regulator so no need to buy an additional, I needed a screw on regulator for Irish propane tanks unlike the clip on that comes with it, also be careful when installing, the bolts on the Karu 12g are brittle and sheared in the back of my oven when removing the original back plate, meaning a lot of hassle to repair it. Just be careful not to over tighten. Apart from these little hiccups I cant recommend the gas attachment enough, the ovens performance is so much better and it has taken the stress of managing a fire and cooking out of it. Would highly recommend this product !!!!

Spark not reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the burner more than 10 times and I had issues several times with the ignition. When it start burning it works fine but the failed attemps are frustrating and even causing two small explotions…
Also. I selected the spanish version and the regulator is not compatible with the Spain propane regular bottles and I needed to buy another one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes getting oven up to temperature much easier. Easy to install. Ignites quickly. I will use mainly in colder weather as still have lots of charcoal and wood for summer but once gone will use solely gas. Very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to cook with charcoal and wood, but as we dont have that much dry days in winter in Holland I didn't use my pizzaoven as much when the days got shorter and darker.
After getting my Karu 12 regular ovenpizza's were honestly a bit of a disapontment every time.

Now that I've installed the gasburner (which was very easy) I made dream pizza's in no-time and was inside enjoying them before the rain came pouring down again.
The fire was huge, so I had to temper the gas a bit which is a wonderful idea that even with gas the oven can get hotter that my pizza's want it to be.
I like that it is easily interchangeable with using the charcoal/wood option. Ilike that the gas burner is a reasonable size, so I don't have to have find a lot of space to keep it when not using it.
Honestly it makes the work of using the Karu a bit of a lazy job, not having to think about fuel and changing heat. So I could see myself using it in the summers when having big group of people over.
Wonderful as an option, sturdy and everything as expected. But can't wait for the sun to come back and have the wood/smokey tast back on my pizza's.
