The frustrations continue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s fussy to use, much fussier than a gas grill, for example. I had to disconnect from the tank and start over because of a pressure related issue. The taste of the pizza using gas is disappointing. My family basically said not to bother next time and just use the regular oven. I have to agree. So the Ooni won’t get/stay hot enough, long enough with the wood and charcoal, and the gas stays consistently hotter but imparts no flavor. This whole Ooni experience has been disappointing. Not recommended.

Not designed for British gas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not designed for British gas bottles, needed to buy an additional fitting before being able to use in in UK. Otherwise, is easy to use, works very well, and heats up quickly.

I still prefer wood but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still prefer wood but if we decide to make pizzas on the spur of the moment, the gas burner is a lot quicker to get the stone up to heat.
The change over back to wood takes just a few minutes.

Great Addition to the Karu

Great addition to the Karu! When you don't have the time, or it is too cold to use wood/charcoal, the gas burner is a perfect alternative. Easy to fit, simple to use and much cleaner than wood/Charcoal

The burner is a dawdle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The burner is a dawdle to fit to the pizza oven, and lights quickly without any fuss. The burner even on the highest setting seems a little weak, compared to using wood in the firebox. Struggles to take temperature gauge out of the yellow and into the orange sector never mind the red! The gas bottle I was using was brand new, so there was no lack of volume or pressure as far as that was concerned. Very pleased with 12G oven though, up to temperature with wood, and it takes no time to deliver beautifully cooked pizza.
