Great upgrade for my Karu

Makes the set-up and bake so easy and cleaner for over the winter months when you don't want to be outside and managing a charcoal and wood burn. I have to say that the first of these I ordered developed a fault, however the excellent Ooni Customer Service kicked in and had me a replacement dispatched ASAP. Wouldn't be without it.

Really easy to install. Just

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really easy to install. Just a couple of screws and that's it! I use both wood & gas for convenience (e.g. in winter time here in Finland, it's way easier with gas as you don't have to freeze your butt off working outdoors all the time :D
Performance is great! It heats my Karu to 400 (celcius) in about 10-15 minutes and keeps the heat easily even we now have -10 to -15 degrees below 0. After optimal temperature is reached, I usually lower the temp just a little bit.
Flame's "signature" is perfect! You get this really nice "roof of flame" which spreads evenly on sides also. Comparing to wood, this is close to perfection, but of course you're gonna miss the woodsmoke taste a bit.
Not 5/5 due a bit tricky piezo (the ignition mechanism) and also the gas adjustment knob is not perfect > I seem to struggle a bit when turning off...

Ooni Karu 12g gas burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. This gas burner in my opinion is better than the regular ooni gas burning ovens. The smaller flame allows for NY style cooks while the ooni koda flame is harder to dial in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the regulator for easier and quicker use of the pizza oven and I’m glad I did. This means I don’t have to wait ages for the pizza oven to heat up. Just wish the instructions were more understandable because you have to remove the rear cover to let air in otherwise the flames go out. There is nothing in the manual regarding this.
