You have way more control when cooking if you want a slightly more crispy crust on your second or even third pizza you can turn down the burner and let the heated stone cook the bottom of the crust. The burner also maintains heat better between pizzas there's no need to keep adding wood and constantly checking the temperature.

Going to gas increased the use of the Ooni a ton as it's just so easy now. It works great. It probably deserves 5 stars, but I've had trouble getting things hot enough (700 degrees is about as high as I've gotten), though impatience may be more the cause than the burner. I'm still trying to get better at this thing, but the learning curve is much faster than with coal and wood. It definitely changes the experience and I would hoghly recommend getting it.

Works on the Fyra

On a whim I bought one for my Fyra. I had to drill two small homes for the screws to mount, and that was it. Works beautifully - I had a deck temp of 950 in about 10 min. No more soggy pellets or empty fireboxes.
