Gas burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the gas burner is very easy to use I have two problems with it
1. Conflicting instructions on the use of the smoke stack. One instruction book said to remove the stack and insert the plug while another one said remove the plug and insert the stack. One book was the oven instructions and the other book was the gas insert instructions. I finally asked another user and used the stack

2. All configurations result in excessive soot. Hard to clean. The flame is not blue as it should be. It is orang/yellow indicating poor combustion. It does heat to 600+° I will use it but I prefer using wood/ charcoal.

Great piece of kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much easier than wood or charcoal and gets the temperature up in about 20 minutes. Excellent. One star deducted because the cover doesn't fit with the burner in place...poor design from a company that's usually much better
