The wrench that comes with

The wrench that comes with the gas unit doesn’t fit the screws on the deflector. Unable to take off the deflector to install the unit.

Like the new burner better than the old gas burner model

This was a newer model replacement gas burner for the original one where the igniter failed. It does seem to work a little better than the original gas burner but in my opinion still does not allow enough gas flow to heat the pizza stone to 900 F.....unless you leave it on for 20-30 minutes, which burns a lot of fuel. I solved this problem with the old gas burner as well as the new one by switching out the Ooni gas regulator and hose with an adjustable gas regulator and hose which allows me to supply just a little more gas flow so I can now heat the stone to 900F in less than ten minutes.
I much prefer the gas burner over wood/pellets because it allows me to quickly and easily raise or lower the heat level to suit my pizza cooking needs.

Great upgrade, quicker and hotter

Great upgrade, quicker and hotter (500oC easily) than wood. I still use wood for when I'm having a long day in the garden but gas when I am cooking lots or decide last minute to have pizza :-)

The black control turner fell

The black control turner fell off after first time using and wouldn’t turn very well to turn on and light the gas. It somehow fell off after last time using it and now can’t find it so basically useless now.

I love the option of gas. The flame is constant and the pizze are coming out perfect! I’ve had successful parties where my friends likes the results so much they went and purchased one.
