Excellent IR thermometer for measuring rough temperature of your Ooni oven, dog, daughter or whatever you point its laser with. Please do not try to measure eye temperature.
Relatively cheap and accurate enough for baking pizza.

Make your ooni more manageable.

Installing this accessory is quick and easy. I like that can ignite itself and that you can easily adjust the flame.
With gas you can easily manage the heat when cooking stuff other than pizza. With wood this is difficult. Also it stays on temperature without constantly checking how much wood there is left. When making lots of pizzas in a row it easy to forget to add fuel. When using gas you only need to check before you start and it wil keep going.
That only negative thing I can find and that is a small issue, is that it can't heat up the oven to 500° Celsius. This is easily achieved when burning wood. On gas I max out on 450° Celsius.
